What is Carroll Business Academy?

The Carroll Business Academy (CBA) is a flagship, innovative, and immersive business education program at Carroll ISD, providing Dragons with the opportunity to learn by doing. Designed for students inspired to become future business leaders, CBA combines coursework, mentorship, and hands-on experiences in entrepreneurship, leadership, and finance. Students graduate with professional skills, certifications, and a portfolio that showcases real-world business experience.

 

CBA blends classroom instruction with mentorship, competitions, internships, and community engagement. Students graduate with business knowledge, practical skills, and a professional portfolio they can use for college and career opportunities.

The Carroll Business Academy Boosters, a 501(c)(3) Carroll ISD–approved organization established in 2024, exists to support and strengthen the CBA program. Boosters fund opportunities that elevate student learning—scholarships, events, equipment, and real-world experiences that aren’t covered by traditional district resources.
